What we collect
Nothing. GLPrivate has no accounts, no sign-ups, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. The core app makes zero network calls — your doses, check-ins, side effects, progress, and lab values are stored only in an on-device database. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal or health information.
Apple Health (optional, read-only)
If you choose to connect Apple Health, GLPrivate can read weight, body fat, lean body mass, waist measurement, sleep, blood glucose, steps, active energy, exercise minutes, workouts, and dietary protein/fiber/water — purely for context inside your own charts and check-ins. This access is entirely optional, off until you turn it on, and read-only: GLPrivate never writes to Health, and every feature works completely without connecting it at all.
iCloud sync (optional)
If you turn on sync, your data moves between your own devices through your personal iCloud account, end-to-end within Apple's system. It is never routed through, or visible to, any server we operate — we don't run one. Sync is off by default, and the app is fully functional without it.
App lock & discreet mode
Face ID or Touch ID app lock and an optional discreet home-screen icon are available in Settings for anyone who wants an extra layer of privacy on a shared device. Neither feature sends any information anywhere — they simply control what's visible on your own screen.
Backup, export & deletion
You can export a single backup file at any time and restore it on any device — that file never touches our servers because there aren't any. Because there are no accounts, there's no account to delete: an Erase all data control in Settings performs a full, immediate local deletion whenever you want it.
No ads, no purchases, no tracking
GLPrivate has no in-app purchases, no ads, and no tracking frameworks. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing is being collected in the first place.
Not medical advice
GLPrivate is a personal tracking journal. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, prescribing, or dosing recommendations. Built-in titration schedules are editable templates — always follow your prescriber's instructions. GLPrivate works alongside Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Saxenda, Victoza, and compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide programs, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any pharmaceutical company.
Children's privacy
GLPrivate is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Changes to this policy
If the app's privacy practices ever change, we will update this page and the app's App Store listing before the change takes effect.
